If so please can you tell me how the 2 stage switch works,
1- Aircon
2-raw water pump
Is there a sequence to follow or is it just to reduce start up surge ?

I would really appreciate a photo copy of an instruction manual if anyone would be kind enough.

I have tried web site to no avail. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Dont have one, but I would have thought, sea water pump first, then AC, and switching off AC first, then water pump when it has cooled. Thats what I would anyway!

Yes thanks I agree that makes sense but all three units are wired so AC comes on first and then raw water pump which is why I am concerned I may damage the unit when I need it.
Do I wait a while between AC and RW or just switch it on and off quick.

We dont have HFL but on our MarineAir stuff all the motors are on time switches so they fire up in sequence, to minimise start up surge.

Peters chichester is dealer for HFL, they might know

I cant imagine any damage issues here. It makes no difference what order you start the motors in, ie the seawater pump, the chilled water circ pump, the compressor motor, and the airhandler fan motors should logically be capable of being started in any order
