As the title says really, Im not sure if I can add the length of my on deck snubber to the length of the chain out over the bow roller.
IE 20m of chain out and 10m of snubber which is on deck, is it the same as 30m for scope calculations?

Thanks

No, you cannot count the length of the snubber if it is on deck.

If the rode passes over the bow roller, the scope is the length of rode after the bow roller In relation the depth of water where the anchor was dropped plus the height of the bow roller above the water. If you want to know the minimum scope at high tide you also need to add the rise in tidal height.
