My blue dodgers have white letters. Over the winter they grew a lot of black mildew. A scrub with oxyalic acid has removed it from the blue but stains caused by the mildew stick stubbornly to the white letters. I have tried scouring them with Flash, Harpic and Brillo pads, but nothing seems to have an effect. It's strange because the mildew does seem to come off everything else. Any ideas?
