Went out of business in the 80s, I believe. Horizontal axis, similar to Aries, etc.

Thought of buying a s/h one in Spain in 73, didn,t cos it weighed a ton, well lots! to much. It was very heavy.

Had one on a Twelve ton Hillyard in the late 1970.s. It was the alternative to the more expensive Aries. Lots of string and pulleys. Had various size vanes and was quite sensitive with the vane blowing down horizonatlly one side or the other instead of weather cocking. Bit cumbersome with galvanised struts. Swinging paddle rising out of the water for power. Did work, most of the time ! Had to be kept painted which was a bit fiddly. Not too much to go wrong.
