well my old dad always lifted his boat every year religiously to minimise build up of moisture in the GRP... hence why I do the same. That's 1 point.

Every few years (maybe 7/8) , I'll lift it for a few months to dry the hull.

I bought the lease to my mooring, so I'm not paying a monthly rental fee, so If I took it out every winter it'd cost an extra ~£2k to have it stored for a few months elsewhere.
