Do Volvo pay goodwill?

Have to agree...would rather have a car that actually worked properly than one that's in the workshop recieving Renault's goodwill. But not all French cars are so cr@p...I used to own an ancient Peugeot 205 diesel that was good-looking, utterly reliable and cost almost nothing to run. Wish I still had it now. But the Range Rover's a real grin in this snow!

Re: Or what about this one then?

Not true. My mother-in-law has got a hotel in Teignmouth right next to the church and she reports that the local traffic warden, whose notoriety has even reached the national rags, delights in booking hearses, wedding cars and even the mayoral limo

Ah Ha - YES THEY DO! If you get hold of the right person and nag and nag and nag and nag. Been there - Engine blew one month out of warranty, I had been complaining of a fault for a year, dealer kept telling me nothing to worry about. Volvo gave me back 80% of the cost! - There's one for the log book!
