do these simple maths make sense?

Total diesel used 738 Ltrs

Total distance covered 403 Miles.

Total hours on engine 26 hrs 30 mins.

So my burn per mile is 1.83 ltrs

My burn per hour was 27.8 ltrs per hour.

My average speed 15.2

Can someone just check or is my man maths playing tricks with me and make me do further and better than I hoped.

If these figures are correct I have to be happy with that. That's is on a yanmar 4 lha stzp, 240 hp.

These hours were a mixture of cruising at 21 knts and pootling along at 4 knts along the weymouth coast.

When I get back home in will give a full cruise report as I am running out of data

Single engin Bruce. Have to say it performed magnificently on my trip. It was my one big concern. But done my checks everyday, not one drop of oil, water or anything added. Tempsford were fine the whole time. I'm so chuffed.

Had mine 18 months (outdrive) and it's been fantastic. It now has 1500hrs on it and is in great condition, and in fairness it's performing better than I thought, hence why I wanted my maths checked. Last year I was getting 35lts an hour. So even had an improvement. I ah very had it serviced twice in that time, start of each season,
