Had the old folks stay the night after a holiday in Finland . Before they set off to York i nipped down to the boat and made lunch . As i was sat there looking at the grin on my mums face i thought the best thing ive ever done is buy a boat .
Anyone else "do lunch" on the boat ?

Every weekend. Friday night the kids and wife join me and we stay until monday am. better than doing the gardening at home /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

When I had the boat on the Thames, used to be really easy to drive to the boat (10 mins)

I could take it out and moor up on one of the banks near Wargrave, and have lunch nearby in minutes. Always went down well with who ever I had on board. Weekday evening barbies one lock up towards Sonning also went down well

We tend to do drinks on the boat ! Fridge is always left on !

But when on anchor I have been knowen to get an early call for a rushed full english breakfast after being picked up by the rib !
