DJI Spark video editing

I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro but I am in the process of moving all my PC systems away from Windows to Linux.
Recently, I revisited KDENLIVE (see here https://kdenlive.org/ ) - community developed.
When I looked at it before, it was a bit flakey but it is under development.
Multi platform.
I think it was the Windows version that I last tried and at the time that was a bit new.
But the project has come a long way and when I tried it out under Linux it seems to offer everything that I need.
So, early days, but I think this could be the video editor that I end up using.

It is free so why not give it a try.

Any recommendations on laptop video editing software for 1080p footage
Thanks in advance..

Hi, you don’t say which laptop (windows or Mac, new or old) but if windows, Premiere elements is pretty good and they do a bundle which also includes photoshop elements to take care of your stills. if Mac, Imovie will get you started well and is free. If you want to splash out more cash, Final Cut Pro is very good and used even by professionals.
