DIY Storm Jib

I'm thinking of making my own storm jib. Hoist by the spinnaker halyard and maybe a wrap round luff to go over the furling genny?

Any tips or ideas appreciated.

(wish I'd kept some old sails now /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif )

There's this kind of thing using sleeves

Cruisader Sails made a simular one for me about 10 years ago. I´m very. satisfied with the perfomance and it got me several times home in a blow.
