I was wondering the same. ? Subject of investigation, ? swearing ? contemplated legal action, or ? just ranting at the wrong people. Sympathies appropriate, but it was a fairly aggressive post.

It would be a really good idea if a whole thread is pulled, for a thread to be left with an explanation that it had gone (and if possible why) so that we dont waste considerable time trying to find it again!

It all seemed relatively peaceful yesterday with the usual different points of view. I don't know if anything happened today.
I did wonder if what he had said on here was the same as what he will say to MAIB! It was begining to look like a somewhat reckless disregard of Col Regs.

It did occur to me from a practical point of view, that if he steamed directly at the other vessel which he said he did, they wouldn't be able to recognise his flag as it would be streamed out behind him

I had to do it the way I did because the forum wouldn't accept the post as a link. But it refers to a prvious recent accident with the dive boat

The thread was pulled because of complaints about the swearing amoungst other things. I take your point about wasting time trying to find threads that have been deleted though. If anything ever gets pulled again (I know it seems unlikely!) I'll leave a note under the original header to explain why it's gone.
