District Enforcement on the upper Thames

I recently saw that this web site and facebook page is still active even though District Enforcement lost the EA mooring contract quite some time ago!

Are they still trying to take peoples money for mooring so can anyone shed any light on the current situation?

The only one of theirs that i have used this year is Henley Mill meadows and last year i stopped at Hampton Court. But they aren't EA moorings as you know.

I suspect you won't find signs at those other locations - if they are EA owned - so you won't be able to register or pay.

Actually, signs at many EA mooring sites seem to be in short supply, and if you do find one, very few give details or prices for additional nights should you want to stop.

I find it surprising that people still moor on an EA mooring and ask where the district enforcement signs have gone and how do they pay. Someone asked me that a couple of weeks ago.

Well, as @boatone posted.
Having tried all sorts of modern interwebbery the EA have discovered....

They have Lock Keepers, who can collect mooring fees. It must be a surprise to EA management, using a system that seems to have worked for the previous four hundred years.....
