does any one know of a company that makes Bosch distributor bodies,for AQ151c's the # stamped on body is 0231178019 as volvo are taking the pxxs on their price, or is there a second hand one foating about

What's wrong with the one you have ?

Can you not mix and match with one from a breakers or german and swedish eg Volvo 240
I think its only the caps are screwed on with the marine version (NB check first)
nice Carrera by the way bog opening port is quite rare

Try coastal rides and ask as many people as possible as I once got a complete engine free

a used petrol engine will be cheaper than Volvo want for a distributor

I've had a little look around via Google and my Autodata software and i think you can use the distributor from a 93 to 95 240 Volvo. Do a little double checking yourself to confirm, or find someone who's breaking one and take your there to compare.
