Take a look at the Discovery 55 on the outer pontoon at Southampton. Its an absolutely amazing blue-water cruiser set up to be handled by a couple. The quality is absolutely superb.
More amazing is the friendly welcome from the staff manning the Discovery - despite me making it very clear I don't have £700k to spend, I was treated to a wonderful escourted tour by people that were rightly proud of their product, and wanted to show it to others. No 'appointments only' and no distain at escorting the ordinary public.
They only planned to make 6 yachts last year, but actually sold 10, all made at a Southampton water based factory.
Fabulous British product, with fabulous staff.
