Dirty prop and bottom black smoke

It never ceases to amaze my what a dirty bottom
And barnacles prop will do went out yesterday
And the boat performed like a Sherman tank
And with a scrub and polish underneath
Wow what a difference

yep mine too. Was acting like a houseboat and costing me loads of fuel for 22 knots of movement.
Had it lifted and cleaned last week and look forward to feeling the difference when |I go out again next week

Have recently anti fouled my boat and took extra time cleaning the prop. Worth the effort, just returned from a trip and its the best the boat has run. I think the difference was polishing the prop.
