Does anybody know where I can buy puncture proof dinghy trailer wheels? I have seen them with purple tyres on plastic wheels - same size as the standard 4.80 pneumatics.
Thanks

B&Q sell small wheels that might be suitable.Or you could always fill you tyres with the pucture repair foam you can get from car shops

Yes I am trying to get launching trolley wheels made of plastic with puncture proof tyres. The ones I saw advertised somewhere last year had 4.80 size tyres which were purple!/

Some 5 years ago I visited a factory in Birmingham who told me they were the biggest manufacturer of both solid and pneumatic small wheels in Europe. They made millions each year for wheely bins and wheel barrows and had a massive range, including dinghy wheels. Problem is I cannot remember their name. However if you do a google search home in on any companies in Birmingham.
Good luck. Paul

I may be able to help.

I have a couple of launching trolley tyres in the garage. About 12" diameter about 2.5" thick and about 28mm shaft size (sorry to mix measurements) Theay are black solid tyres on a red plastic core.

Let me know if its the sort of thing you are after and I will send some pics

I'm not sure how this came up now, but it's two years since RAB first started this thread! I think he will have sorted it out by now.
I'm sure the offer of help will be appreciated though.
