Last Sunday I did some video filming of dinghy racing on the river at Twickenham.

This is my first attempt at video editing so please don't be too harsh with your comments!

Blimey! So National 12s are still about. I used to sail these up on the East Coast more than 50 years ago. And 14s, Merlin Rockets, Fireflys, 505s (the most beautiful dinghy ever built) and....and....and... and.... Nice bit of video. Any limitations are down to YouTube itself.

The modern National 12 dinghies are amazing. The video features a mixture of contemporary and classic boats. The modern designs are much faster than the older boats.

Unfortunately the new National 12s cost a lot of money, so I think I will be sticking with my old Enterprise for a while.
