Digital Yacht's SPL2000 VHF/AIS Splitter

Has anyone direct experience of Digital Yacht's SPL2000 VHF/AIS Splitter?

DY claim it to have "zero loss" in the signal to both VHF and AIS.

Is there any independent verification of DY's claim.

I cannot speak directly about the splitter, but when I bought a Digital Yacht AIS transponder, they recommended their dedicated AIS aerial rather than going for the splitter. As they supply both, I assume the opinion was free from bias.
