Now I always thort that MBM was aimed at the "Boat you actually buy" and MBY at the "Boat you would like to buy" (given the money)

Tom's recent e-mail suggests different - and I quote
"Carl Richardson has left our sister title MBM to come and join us at MBY as Features Editor. The reason (apart from the prestige, the money, the shorter working hours, the office totty, the quality of the biscuits and the caring boss) is that while the MBM office overlooks the crack-dens of SE London, the MBY offices overlook the Thames, St Paul's Cathedral, the Globe Theatre and St
Mary Le Bow."

So its all about Totty and Biscuits then....... Cant wait to see Page 3 of next months MBY - maybe even a coupon for discount on "Harrods" biscuits./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Harrods biscuits? How dare you, sir! We purchase our baked flour-based commestibles from Fortnums, not The Old Fugga of Knightsbridge.

Not sure thats a reccomendation. Stopped buying Fortnums Xmas Hampers for my customers a few years back when one of them found the remains of a dead animal in a hamper and their Xmas puds are definitely not what they used to be!

Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regent Street were Green and Park Lane and Mayfair were purple. Is that how the Cab Drivers learn the knowledge ??
Do not pass go and do not collect £200.

Don't be daft, Park Lane and Mayfair were dark blue. Purple was Northumberland Ave, if memory serves.
