Diesel return line

I replaced the high pressure diesel lines on one of my AD31s after I experienced 2 fracturing at the injector (on separate occasions). It occured to me that maybe I should also replace the line that returns unused fuel to the pump. Can anyone advise if that line is also high pressure?
 
The pressure isn't the problem: duff metal plus vibration = fracture.
Having said that, I've never heard of the return line fracturing unless someone trod on it :eek:
 
I accept that pressure does not cause the fracture but the implications after the fracture depend on the pressure. If it's a dribble that can be dealt with then fine, but if it's a high pressure spray then that's a different matter.
 
The pipes will usually fracture is they are fitted under tension or if the securing clamps that fix between pipes are missing
