I've no idea. But I would not be paying that price. Just ring your local fuel supply firm and get a tanker down for about half that price, or club together with a few others if you dont need the quantity. A 45 gallon oil drum or three and may be a trailer. Is the other way.

No one can force me to come here-----------

Get yourself round to our neck of the woods at Brundall - all last year I never paid more than 37p. Give Brooms a ring I think they sell at around 35p.

I agree it is a long way to travel by boat just for fuel but only a short hop by car if you can transport fuel by some other way.

Depending on quantity take some cans to a marina on the coast, I remember paying about 32p/l at Suffolk Yacht Harbour last year, they were a bit suspicious as they thought I was going to put it in my car... but I managed to persuade them to sell to me.

Somewhere, in the back of the old grey matter, I seem to remember the government took red diesel off of inland waterways ( 2-3 years ago??) Perhaps some of our ditchcrawlers could confirm or deny this?
In which case this might be the price for DERV ( white diesel ) Yes / No ??
You could pm someone like tripleace for clarification.

No you can definately buy at the cheap price on the Thames.
But years ago boatyards with hire boats had one rate for the
hirers and another for private owners, I think the red rate only
applied to private owners, don't know if this is still the case or
ever was in fact.
I remember arguing with an attendent years ago about this,
but I'm sure he was just trying to pocket he difference.

There's a guy with a tank at the side of the river in G Yarmouth next to the Lifboat station he lives across the road and theres a mobile number on a sign by the tank he was the most reasonable last time we were down there.
