diesel oven

Anyone advise on whether it is possible to get an oven that runs on diesel? Would you recommend one or is gas the better option?

No experience of diesel cookers myself but they seem to be favoured by some of the inland waterways/narrowboat fraternity. Advertiser in Canal boat mags is Kuranda Marine whose web site is at http://www.kurandamarine.co.uk. New site and no real info yet but their phone number is there.

I remember the one time I sailed on a Coaster with a diesel fired range .... it had a drip feed via a glass sight glass to the burners. The food always tasted of diesel !!!!!
