Diesel Maintenance

Did my VHF exam at Bisham, superb location, by the river, especially if you have a nice day. Not done the diesel course, but saw the bits of engines they use for the training. Think I took cheese and pickle sandwiches! Have a good day.

Did my VHF there too, good course and just 1 lock from home :-) Let me know about the course I might do one my self, what's the cost etc.

PS - lunch normally provided and sometimes the England squad are there, if you like footie

Any you guys got a contact number or address for the people that run the courses, would like to do VHF and some others, moored at taplow so nice and easy......

Best things about Bisham...
The sailing (dinghy) school's instructors are so polite and take care to clear you a path when you are passing.
Greek Chris's house is just upstream and his hospitality is superb.

Yep, I can confirm a thoroughly pleasant bunch a Bisham. Enjoyed my day there. Even took exam with RYA examiner aboard their narrow boat, brought back old memories.

Greek Chris? I guess that indicates his ancestry. Excellent hospitality obviously part of the Greek character. Hope that makes up for may comments on certain marbles a few days back!!!

Took all my exams there including dayskipper, VHF DSC and Diesel maintenance.

They even created a special one day dingy handling course for my three kids. Really excellent.

Diesel Course I thought was good. knowing nothing at all when I started, I came out knowing a little. Certainly very first line of checks in an emergency.
