As Carmel have just found out it cheaper to buy it in Greece , if your staying in Ragusa , have a winter sail away from the marina and go to Malta and fill there again cheaper then Italy and Greece and it a good excused to go out sailing .

It was around 1.75 went we left in March , we filled in Tunisia at . 52 c a lt

Good advice and go to the fuel dock at marsaxlokk where it is 1.36 and no surcharge, unlike the fuel barge at marsamxett, and you can get water there if you need it. We will be filling up there in the next week or so before we return to Ragusa at the end of the month.

We just paid 1.75/lt in brindisi -- ouch - we are headed to tunisia and i wanted just enough to get from port to port but the admiral insisted on filling up - we are a sailboat and put on a 50usg or about 175lt tank extra along with the 35usg tank -
