I am looking for some hose to connect to my deck filler fitting to my new fuel tank. Approx 2 Mtr length.
Does any one know if this requires a specific type of hose or will any type of plastic hose do the job.
The diesel fuel will not lie in it but just run down and into the tank.
Does any one know of a supplier of this type of hose, other than Vetus or some such Chandler at GBP 24.00 per metre??

Agree with boatbuilder, use the correct hose. I bought mine from ASAP. Don't forget, fitting the wrong hose could possibily invalidate your insurance. It is also a requirement for those who need a boat safety certificate.

Give your local fuel supplier a ring. They have delivery hose from farm tanks at about £12 for a 3 m length, fully certified.
