Grateful if anyone could advise me about a small workshop who could fabricate for me a steel fuel line about 15 cm long with banjo joints at each end. I have the spare part on order from Japan but understand they may not be able to supply it owing to the age of my engine. Preferably south coast area but the wotk could be done anywhere because the part is so small. I have the (broken) original available as a copy. Many thanks.

Where is it broken? I silver soldered a fuel pipe back together that broke a few weeks ago. If you can't do it, any diesel engineering shop should be able to help.

If you definately need a new one, High Pressure Hoses in Cattedown, Plymouth is one local specialist in the West Country who is very good for pipes and fuel lines.

Many thanks for your reply. The pipe is broken close to one of the banjo joints, so it may be difficult to braze or silver solder without using a new piece of pipe. Thank you for the address; I may have to get onto them if all else fails.
