To my friends on the other side of the planet, what price are you paying for diesel these days at your marina? (just curious).

I have not been to Europe for many years, do you have a lot of diesel cars on the road?

Land based diesel for cars and trucks in the U.S. is running $3/gal, and at the marina it's about $4/gal.

Diesel for road vehicles is about £1.2 per litre, so about £5.50 per UK gallon, which of course is a little bigger than the U.S. Gallon. About 70% of this is tax. Marine diesel for commercial use is about £0.8 per litre (could be cheaper depending on supplier), for us leisure users, 60% of our diesel attracts full tax, 40% at 5% tax, so we pay about £1.1 per litre at the moment.
My numbers are approximate, and others might have a different number.

Took on some diesel in Dunkerque Fr. last week.paid 1.29 euros per litre.
Marine diesel in our UK boat club is 84p per litre sterling..

I think (I just filled up last weekend but didn't pay attention to the per litre cost) diesel is approx 1.35 Euro per litre in my marina in mallorca, which works out at 96pence per litre.
