Diesel engine oil for old engine ?

Hi. . .Coventry Climax Godiva KF4. . . .2 stroke diesel with blower - - -50hp at 2000 rpm from 1953.
I don't know what oil to use . It was originally HD 30. What do you recommend? Someone said Shell Rotella T40 ( DD +40 ), but that's v hard to find here in France.
any and all suggestions gratefully received.

Two stroke .... stick with single grade please !!...

Tried anywhere that Farmers get their stuff from?

Some of their engines might be old types & require that oil.

Thanks folks. . .that's very useful. and also stick to monograde too. I'll check the farm shops all the way to La Rochelle
Much appreciated. It's for my FMD. . .Fast Motor Dinghy. . ex RN. speed boat in mahogany.
