Diesel deck filler connector to larger hose. 38mm - 50/60mm

On my jeanneau Sundream 28 the winch socket on the original filler cap is burred. So i ordered an Easy deck filler. The screw holes seem to line up fine but the hose from the fuel tank to original filler is a much larger diameter. It looks more than the other filler type diameter (51mm). Does anyone know if the Vetus hose adapter will be fine with diesel? or are there alternative adapters? many thanks in advance :ambivalence:

The adaptor will be fine. I have used them for exhausts and I think they are the same material as waterlocks which are exposed to fuel, oil and carbon.
