just a follow up on the diesel cooker thread from the past, my old pacific which was destined for the deep six has redeemed itself, after spending two weeks living on board feeling the cold and not having time or the inclination to fit in the new ebspacher. i thought i,d give the pacific a fire up, in went a temporary tank piped into the cooker a couple of gallon of diesel and away it went, it still smoked and fumed for the first day but after that and lots of fiddling with the drip feed it did an amazing job keeping the boat warm cooking baked jacket potatos the odd two course meal heating gallons of hot water even toast , ok maybe it was my fault before not really understanding the beast, but now i,m a convert. its staying. !!!
