Diesel at Shotley

I have just had it confirmed by Shotley that they will be obtaining for sale to boat owners A2 grade marked gas oil. This is ultra low sulphur diesel but without the biodiesel content so there should not be any increased problems with seals or the dreaded diesel bug.

Anybody know what other marinas in the area will be supplying?

That is very good news.
I usually buy from them or the Tidemill.
I have no idea who else is heading down that road but I will check with Titchmarsh when I am down there in the next few days.

Titchmarsh's Harbour Master confirmed today that they would be stocking diesel that would not have any biodiesel content.

That's great news, at least I won't be decoking the Webo quite so often.

To update about diesel at Foxs, just had this in:

My supplier has confirmed he will supply Ultra low sulphur fuel without any biofuels in it .
I took my first delivery today........
I shall also be treating my tanks as usual.

So that's more good news about diesel supplies on the East Coast.

As a footnote, we've never had any issue with buying fuel from Foxs as they have always looked after it and have always had a decent throughput due to the large tanks of some of the big yachts they fill.
