For real, not done in Photoshop, this is on our moorings. It 's only been on the mooring for about a month. I don't know the details, it was a nice little clinker-look yacht about 20 foot.

Looking back towards the Steamboat Museum.

It's due for recovery soon. Of course it's not tidal here so it's a lift.

Damn shame.Mind you, if they`re quick she wont come to much harm. Fresh water.Quick power hose inside and out. Get the water out of the engine and gearbox and fuel.Change all oils and fuel and get it fired up quick as poss.

Re: Clinker....

When launching you really have to be prepared to spend 24 hours bailing until the wood expands.

Re: Clinker....

Not sure it was wood. It may have been a clinker effect in GRP, I didn't get a pic of it on the mooring. It was a very smart little boat.

Re: Clinker....

Maybe one of those unsinkable balsa or foam core boats. Not all is doom and gloom. Any work needed at the top of the mast can be done without too much climbing.

hadn't thought of that. It may have been the Mid-Night ski patrol. I'll have to be around when they lift it. There may still be a skier embedded in the topsides.
