At SIBS I went round all the magazine stands to see what was on offer ( Having already stopped all direct debit subs)
Most of 'em were giving bags or haversack things.
It really annoys me that there is nowt given for loyalty..
So I told a young lovely (they're all lovely when they're young) that I'd cancelled my subs and wasn't renewing 'cause the only offer worth having was from the Mobo mag. (Nothing personal but I'm a raggie)
"Oh" she sez "we can do that" So I took out two subs as usual, one PBO, the other YM, and received 2 bottles of very acceptable Plymouth Gin...
Then went to the Plymouth stand at the Mobo mag and had two excellen G&Ts to celebrate.

Why don't they reward loyalty? I'll have to do it all over again next year !!!

Loyalty rewards ...

Yep like Insurance Co's that keep premiums up as they expect you to just cough up each year ... My mother had a premium rise of 150% on her House Buildings Ins. some years ago ... No letter advsing her and asking IF she agreed - just a letter saying that she should increase her standing order or pay £xxxx at bank etc.

So I got her to go with me to another broker .... she got a 15% drop against previous premium and greater cover ....

Loyatly rewards ??? Are you kidding - in todays society ???

They will stick all sorts of useless trinkets on front of mags etc. ..... bury the mags in adverts ...... tell you all sorts of things .... but loyalty rewards ????? C'mon ..... I ask you !!

Well I go along with the idea that you should never take a free kick in a game it implyies that you actually think that your opponents could possibly have deliberately cheated... No that's simply not possible and I'll continue to be happy living in my dream world ...
