I did core a very nice bit of kit
Last year when coming back into wells late I had real problems spotting a temporary channel marker, conditions were rough no moon plus getting near to the point of not enough depth to get back onto my moorings ! and a fast boat on my stern lol while I was dithering so to speak

so This night scope is spot on £107 odd it works well 3 times magnification seperate infared, but the best thing you dont need to switch it on if there's stars or moon light then it works well enough, how handy is that
The paper work says for repairs it goes to mead aren't they the posh company that do telescopes

cheers
Mick

I've had mine for a couple of years, I was one of the posters that said it was good value. Haven't actually used it in anger yet, but then I don't often travel at night, and when I do, there is so much ambient light from ashore that lights are silhouetted!

Got one last year, nice kit but a novalty as I have no real use for it on land or on the water. I like it but a waste of money cause it's collecting dust on top of the wardrobe. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My son thinks they are a great idea, if a bit heavy to wear - he uses them at night while blatting about at 150' and 130kts.

Don't think he picked his up at Lidl though. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
