I have just bought a boat and there is a Dickinson Bristol stove on board which though serviceable, could use a few spare parts. When I contacted Dickinson and described my stove they told me that they don't make them. My stove runs on propane and their stoves run on diesel.

Does anyone know where my stove came from and where I might get a few parts for it?

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer in Canada?
The Dickinson Manufacturing Co. Ltd, 407-204 Cayer St,
Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada V3K 5B1,
604-525-6444; they may be able to help or put you in touch with someone who may have the parts

Thank you for the note, but yes I have, by email (they have a good website) and they deny having ever produced any propane stoves and haven't offered any other assistance. I suspect that what I have is a conversion, though it looks professional. The hob has Thor stamped on it if this helps anyone.

What I think I need is a UK distributor who holds some spares (boring stuff like oven shelves), that way I might have somewhere to return anything that doesn't quite fit rather than ordering from the States.
