I have now struggled for 2 days trying to remove the propeller cone nut, to no avail, (so that i can change the propellor anode )i have knocked back the tabs on the lock washer, but cannot get the cone to turn, there seems to be insufficient clearance from the cone nut and the propellor,to allow the cone from turning,(to pass the tab washer) other than destructive surgery,i can see no way of removing it has anyone any ideas??????

I take it you have undone the lock bolt down the centre of the prop cone? Should unscrew easily.
