Good afternoon all,

I'm on the hunt for someone with a Princess 266 Riviera or a Princess 286 Riviera in Poole Harbour (or further away if happy to bring it to Poole). It is for a Used Boat feature for Motor Boats Monthly, and we'd need the owner to run the boat out of Poole for us for some photos and video.

It's usually a great fun day out and we'll happily supply the owner with some high quality images of his boat as a thank you.

If anyone is able to help, or knows someone that might be able to, please do get in touch, either by replying to this thread or by sending me a 'Private Message' via the forum.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Nick

Not trying to be a smart ar$e, but you obviously cover fuel and any other associated costs, right?

Further to our chat the other day about this... sorry, but I have drawn a blank.
I have done many of tehse features with Nick and previously Carl along with the team from MBY too. They are really good days on the water and very enjoyable.
If you do have the right boat, give Nick a shout and see her in print.

Hi Alt. Most of the boats we feature are actively for sale so owners are very happy to get four or five pages of publicity (not to mention a fun day out and some great photos) in return for their time and fuel. However on this occasion, as there is no 'promotional benefit', I'm sure we could come to some sort of agreement.

Hi Nick,if you are able to jump on the Poole condor to guernsey, I have a very interesting 286 that I have re engined with a pair of d3 220 's with stainless duo props and also removed and had sprayed all the dash and cabin door to match the gel colour. Both of these changes have made a big difference as I'm sure you can imagine! Anyhow let me know as will happily take you for a trip around herm or sark on maybe the only 286 with these motors and probably the fastest! Cheers, cap'n chris

Hi Richard, and thanks ever so much for replying.

It seems these boats are a little thinner on the ground than they once were. I can remember when the 286 Riviera was by far THE most popular boat in Torquay Marina, and the only boat that came close was the 266 Riviera. I think there were a dozen or more of the two combined at one time. However I think that says more about my age than anything..!

I also think I'm going to have to widen my search a bit, so if anyone has a 266 Riviera or 286 Riviera anywhere on the south coast and fancy getting involved, do please feel free to let me know.

Many thanks,

Nick

Sorry, I saw Richard's reply before yours. Chris, your boat sounds really interesting. Can I look into the logistics of coming over and get back to you?

Thanks,

Nick
