Departed Titchmarsh yesterday to put Zulu back on her mooring having waited a couple of days for the worst of the n/e's to abate. All went well but although I followed the channel there was a very shallow bit around the stbd no 9 bouy. I went out at around 1245,just after high water, and the depth went down to 3.1m, on a 4.00 m tide. I think the channel may have shifted? Anyway if you are going that way before the channel is checked I would be very careful outside of -1/+1 of high water.

Isn't that the area where Harwich Harbour Authority had to do some dredging last year? I guess with all these Easterly gales the sand has shifted back again.

I talked to the harbour master at Titchmarsh (about the lack of water). this morning and he said that the HHA were going to survey and dredge soon
