Depth Transducer

Anyone know of a depth transducer that will slot into the hull fitting of a paddlwheel log?

I find my paddlewheel log a waste of time; innacurate when it works and prone to fouling and stopping altogether. I was thinking of permanently plugging the hole this winter, but as the hole is on the centerline and points straight down it occurs to me it would be a good place to mount a depth transducer.

Wasn't there until I hit refresh. I'll see what advice you get and take it into consideration.
