ask the manufacturer of you boat or talk to the different manufactures of the transducers, they will have the info you want, you have not given enough info for anyone to help much more with at mo.

its the sc1000 smartcraft system ,i know that quicksilver do a transducer for £300 ,just wondering if anything else will work with it

I fitted the in-hull transducer to my Sea Ray last year. The Mercury part number is 881932A1. I understand only the official Mercury parts work with Smartcraft. I got the part from an ebay seller in the states, brand new boxed. The total cost including delivery, vat and import duty was £105, a big saving on the UK price!

If you search the part number on google you will find a few places in the US selling these parts. This one is in Canada and appears a good price.
