Hi I have bought one of these DEOK Digital Voltmeter/Ammeter Red/Yellow LED Dual Display Meter DC 100V 10A to put into the line from my Solar panel so that I can see how much current is being sent down. however I have no wiring instructions, except for the pictures attached to the Amazon page selling it has anybody fitted one of these, it seems unlikely that the small wires are meant to carry 10 amps so i assume the red and black need connecting into the positive line to be able to register the Amps.

Ive been looking for something like that. Can the load be used as the psu or do they need to be isolated?
Ed: also just read down the page :o

(if the measure voltage between DC 3.5-30V, then the Thin Yellow line and Thin Red line can connect together)

how to register the amps out of the solar panel

yes I have seen them but am still not sure if its possible to simply connect the red and black thick wires into the feed from the panel, eg red to the red wire out of the panel and black to the positive on the battery to read the amps being put in.?
