I recently purchased a used Jib sail for my Bene 373. Its Made by Delta Sails in France and lightly used. My existing Genny is 140% ( 37 mSq) and when we do some club White Sail racing in the shoulder season, we struggle with the 140% Genny when the breese is over 15 Kn and gusty. We can roller furl, but we loose ability to point then.
So ,
I've purchased a used Racing Jib Sail on Labonnevoile, used sail site in France. The sail arrived today and looks great , its made by Delta Sails in France. Its made of clear (Mica?) material on the outsides and greyish Scrim material (Taffida ? ) in the sanwich. Its Tri radial cut and has 5mm Luff tape which matches my forestay. Is approx 29mSq as opposed to 37 m Sq in y current Genoa.

I Plan to use it in Gusty weather. My poblem is that i've just realise I know nothing about using these sails, The main question is, can it be furled onto the roller ? I don't think that there is any UV protector , so I cant leave it up on the furler. My main question is can this radial cut sail be furled on a roller ? Am I missing any other important info about this type of sail? Any info welcome.

Sounds similar to my laminate heady. No issues rolling it, so unless there's something odd about the one you've got should be OK.

Re UV, I'm not personally a fan of the look of a UV strip so I did without and instead had a cover made. Standard sailcover canvas, zipped along the long axis, goes up on a spi halyard. Only a couple of minutes to rig/derig, and in terms of cost about the same as having a UV strip fitted, and replaced.

That sounds re assuring . I plan to get down to the boat on Friday and try out the new sail so fingers crossed.

The cover is a great idea, Ill look at getting one made up as soon as I' ve figured out the sail.

Thanks for you input DFL1010
