new to this please bear me
just purchased a Dell Quay Dory 13 ( first boat ever )
would anyone know where i could buy
a grp front cabin not sure if it is known as a cuddy

I don’t won’t to appear unhelpful but the easiest answer is probably- on a different boat. It’s probably cheaper to buy one with one already.

Otherwise I guess a folding canvas one is next but even then I expect it would cost more than the value of the boat.

I’m fairly familiar with this great wee model of the DQ. As far as I know, there isn’t a factory hard top cuddy for it. Only for the larger ones...and they are rare.
You can get a folding canvas cuddy made though. I’ve seen that. Quite smart too. But always wondered how the frames, fixtures and fittings would last, given the hard and harsh ride in a chop.

looking to use one on the norfolk broads calm water with a max legal speed of 4 mph, will think about canvas or posibly make a cuddy using polycarbonate
