Hi All

I'm after a bit of help, my crew have all pulled out in helping me sail my new boat, a Hanse 301, from Bangor to Cardiff. The plan was to leave on Saturday 7th after the sea trail, either head around Anglesey or through the Straits depending on tides and straight home.

Does any one know of any professional skippers or would be interested in the trip, I know its short notice and being Easter has caused a few problems.

Cheers

Stu

give Frank Ratcliffe on 07715905224 a ring he runs a small RYA sailing school at Conwy, say Bert gave you his number (Pati's friend) if he cant do it he may be able to help
i lived up there for a while and brought my Legend 356 back from Conwy, we came over the top one hit to Milford 22hrs

Delivery Trip Bangor to Cardiff

Hi Stu

Would love to help but work constraints would be a problem. Given your destination I would suggest from Bangor (Dickies @ Port Penrhyn ?) that you go through the Menai Straits rather than round Anglesey.
We launched our SIGMA33 in Port Dinorwic on Good Friday and sailed round to HolyHead and going over Caernarfon Bar noticed quite a change in the buoyage and suggest you get an update from the Caernarfon Harbour Trust website.

PS I may be doing a trip in the opposite direction in a couple of weeks time from Portishead to
Holyhead.

Have fun and good luck whichever way you do it ?

Erich

Afternoon All

We completed the sea trail on and took her to Port Denorwic, I managed to arrange a delivery skipper so she will be on her way back to Cardiff shortly !!

If it wasn't for work we would have come back this week very slowly with the family, make a holiday out of it !!!

Cheers

Stu
