So, we are now "fully" legalised with our very own DEKPA thingymadoodah. Very pleasant lady officer in the Corfu Town PP office sorted it for me, even after I knocked over her cup of coffee all over her desk. Eeek!
I've looked it over, and am trying to work out what my obligations are, if any. The lady officer has stamped us as arriving in Corfu from Italy when we got the DEKPA a few days ago (Even though we've been here since October, but who cares!). She asked me what our next port of call would be, and I said we didn't really know, we'd just be ambling around Corfu for a couple of weeks or so, before sailing south. As a result, she said she wouldn't stamp the exit box.
Looking through the document, it's essentially in/out stamps that it's looking for.
1) What the heck is the point of this for cruisers who are just ambling about?!
2) Should I get the exit stamp before we leave Corfu, or will the next PP to check it not give a hoot?
