Dehler

I love the look of the Dehler 36db, does anyone know much about these yachts. I have 2 growing girls so like the idea of twin aft cabins, Dehler also have a good reputaion as sea boats. from pictures its not clear if runners are used as well as backstay and are they as good as their reputaion? Any aadvise much appreciated.

Yes I was overtaken by one in a pursuit race. I felt that my Ben, which is no slouch off wind, was in reverse.

My only experience is with my little Dehler 22 trailer sailer..which I don't sail half as much as I'd like to .

Even so its a class act, goes well and is beautifully balanced.

Just check the recent YBW reviews, about 2 or 3 months ago there was a review of a new Dehler that concluded she was real handful and not for the family sailor, though jolly fast if kept in the groove.
