Deck scrub brush!

Hello all
My current deck brush for washing down with is the standard type, about a foot wide on a telescopic pole.
The problem I have is that the its too wide to fit in the side decks, it can be used but the hard edges of the brush scratches the paint just beneath the windows on either side.
Solution: Im looking for one approx 100mm wide, on a pole so it will actually fit the deck recess, either that or one with bristles all over, not only the bottom but also each side.
Is what I describle actually available, I have yet to find anything? Maybe you have one?

In true "Practical Boat Owner" style, why not simply chop a bit off the existing brush?

We kept finding bristles after a scrub down-the brush, a 6 inch stiff one with natural bristles-was getting old and breaking up.

As the previous poster suggested this very morning I cut the bristles of with a hacksaw, reshaped the head and screwed a 5 inch stiff nylon bristled scrubbing brush to the head. took about 15 minutes, cost £1. 90 plus 4 SS screws from the toolbox.

We have one with bristles sticking out on all sides except the top, a bit like a loo brush but wider instead of circular. Not sure where we bought it from.
