We have a lot of deck leaks on our Gaff Cutter. Structurally the deck is in sound
condition, but the previous owners painted it with two pack witch is to brittle
any ideas what to do with it ?

By planked I presume you mean teak??? The only way to stop the leaks is to remove the two pack with sanding and then check the seams. The best way of checking once the two pack is removed is to wet them, any damaged seams will stay wet longer than the others. You then need to remove the caulking and replace with new.
I know this is not what you wanted to hear but it will need to be done to prevent damage to the decking.
If you ask what caulking to use you will get many different answers, I personally use Life calk from boat life, it is a polysulfide based rubber compound that I feel happy to use but thats a personal preferance.
Have a look through the wooden boat sites for further info. If you have no luck PM me and I will get you some more info
