Deck Hatch Glass Replacement

Hi, I know of Eagle Windows in Skipton that refurb and replace boat windows/hatches. Are there any other company's that do this? Looking for someone in the Midlands area? I have three deck hatches that have drove themselves 'crazy' in the Med sunshine!

I did my own in Spain, two hatches and two curved coach roof windows for about €100. Wasn,t that difficult to do.

I need to do all three of my hatches on the Dufour, where did you get the Perspex from & what did you cut it with?

Hi Peter, Hi Joe, as Joe says, I did it in La C, the supplier was a local outfit, great range of material, the same must exist in the UK in a similar sized town. I took the pattern up, they cut out all three, spot on. The trick, imho, is thinking out each step, masking up V carefully, have a dummy run (before applying sealant) and having the right sealant!!!, (Joe may remember, at first, I didn,t, SH#T), luckily, I had only done one before that DAWNED. If you SERIOUSLY intend doing them yourself, I can with a bit of effort, drag up the www. of the stuff I used finaly. Bill.

Getting acrylic or polycarbonate cut to size is not the problem, it is the way the material is fitted into the hatch, which varies from make to make.
