A subject that's been covered before but our deck flood bulb has expired.
It's a 12V 35W tractor bulb approx 100mm in diameter.
The replacement bulb is AQ SIG # 90400306 or Gen El #4406

Force 4 stock the AQ replacement at about £23.
The GE 4406 can be purchased from stagelamps.co.uk at £4.99 plus £8.50 shipping + VAT. So in effect you can order two for the price of one.

Just ordered a replacement and spare.

Did you consider leds? Not sure how much power you have to play with and I realise dropping a bulb in is easier than a new fitting but (just a lift off Ebay, no connection)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15W-LED-S...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cddf9dc0b

I fitted a pair of these this winter: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Bri...V-/161155769258?ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:GB:1123 and I'm delighted with them.

They're very thin and flat, and simply stick unobtrusively to the underneath of the spreaders (I ran a bead of sikaflex around them as well as the included sticky pad, just to be sure and to help with waterproofing, though they claim to be submersible anyway). I don't like the look of the traditional dirty great lampshades hanging under the spreaders.

Their spread of light is almost 180º, so they floodlight the whole boat from stem to stern. And brightness? My mate described it as "like cold sunlight" - you would not need any more light whatever the job, and it might also prove a useful anti-collision warning if needed (turning us from a pinpoint of red or green light into a fully-illuminated yacht).

And half the price of Talulah's old lightbulb to boot :) (though obviously you have the hassle of installation).

I replaced mine a year or two ago and failed to find the equivalent on line, paid through the nose, wish I had known then what you now show.A useful post, we need more like it.

LED replacement

http://www.ebay.com/itm/One-LED-Wor...Parts_Accessories&hash=item417f917707&vxp=mtr

BUT

less expensive and slightly smaller in diameter than the 4112 sealed beam 35 watt tractor bulb are the many round LED floodlights on ebay.

I found one with a diameter of about 2 mm less than the tractor sealed beam unit. Just have to remove the stainless steel mounting bracket from the round led floodlamp ! Inexpensive too !
